CONFERENCE - SEMINAR "ANOMALOUS PHENOMENA - METHODOLOGY AND RESEARCH PRACTICE"

Conference - Seminar "Anomalous Phenomena - Methodology and Research Practice. 10 years experience of USRCAA “Zond” was held by the Faculty of Aerospace Systems NTUU "KPI" in October 28, 2015.

The stand devoted to the current state of problems studying aerospace phenomena was opened during the event. The Proceedings in Ukrainian and English published by the faculty were presented. The Editorial Board and team of authors consisted of leading scientists from Ukraine, the USA, Austria, the Netherlands, Spain and other countries.

The scientific-research EU program "Horizon 2020"

The Faculty of Aerospace Systems is taking an active part in scientific-research program of the European Union "Horizon 2020". 28-29 August 2015 Dean of the Faculty prof. Zbrutsky O.V. as a member of the working group of state Space Agency of Ukraine took part in the seminar "Horizon 2020: Information Days: Space" dedicated to establishing communications, information sharing and finding partners for joint projects of the program "Horizon 2020".

The seminar was organized by the German Space Agency (DLR) and the National Space Agency of Poland and took place in Warsaw.

It was attended by over 100 participants from many European countries, which are developing space programs. They are Germany, France, Italy, Ukraine, Serbia, Israel, Czech Republic, Romania, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Belgium, and Turkey.

There were round table discussions and meetings between representatives of different countries that have established direct contacts and defined the directions of future partnership in European space projects.

Representatives of the European Commission issued the reports concerning the problem of space section of the program "Horizon 2020", project competition, which will be announced in October this year, the requests preparation for competition participation, amounts of particular areas funding.

Presentation of the DAAD program NTUU "KPI"

The presentation will be conducting in the Ukrainian language by the head of DAAD Information Centre in Kiev, Mrs. Gisela Zimmermann. We invite students, teachers and young scientists in this event.

A summer school of NETCENG

On 21 June - 4 July 2015 a summer school project NETCENG (http://netceng.eu/) program TEMPUS took place. The Summer School’s venue was the renowned University of Brunel (Brunel University London: http://www.brunel.ac.uk/), located in West London - Uxbridge.

The NETCENG project aims to reform a third cycle of engineering education in Belarus, Russia and Ukraine. The project consortium includes universities of these countries as well as Germany, Great Britain, Lithuania - a total of thirteen universities.

A summer school of NETCENG

The NETCENG project aims to reform a third cycle of engineering education in Belarus, Russia and Ukraine. The project consortium includes universities of these countries as well as Germany, Great Britain, Lithuania - a total of thirteen universities.

NTUU “KPI” is the project coordinator in Ukraine. Representatives of our University took part in summer school, in particular: V. Kryshtal, Associate Professor of Theoretical Mechanics chair, deputy dean of faculty of aircraft and space systems, A. Marynoshenko, assistant professor of Theoretical Mechanics chair responsible for implementation of the NETCENG Project in NTUU “KPI”.

The summer school program covered theoretical and practical sessions on simulation systems (Ali Mousavi), introductory courses in power electronics (Michael Theodoridis). Brunel University representatives also provided substantive presentations on the concept of transitional courses for post-graduates as well as on principles of scientific articles (Dmitry Eskin), general principles of scientific research (Tatiana Kalganova).

At the end of the Summer School the hosting party awarder the participants with a gift – it organized a trip to Blenheim palace, which is a renowned World Heritage Site.
